In Oregon, if you’re in a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), your medical expenses, including massage, chiropractic, and acupuncture, are covered up to $15,000 or more through PIP (Personal Injury Protection) insurance, regardless of fault or whether you were a pedestrian or cyclist. You provide us with your claim number that your insurance adjuster will give you, and we handle the rest with no money out of your pocket.

Worker’s Compensation

If you’re injured at work, certain workers’ compensation plans may cover massage therapy and/or acupuncture. Consult your treating medical doctor for a prescription for manual therapy as part of your treatment plan. Inform the claims adjuster about the prescription to ensure coverage.

Health Insurance

Health insurance often covers massage therapy and/or acupuncture, but coverage varies. Some plans require a doctor’s referral, while others allow visits without one. Coverage can range from full payment to requiring a co-payment.
